John Pringle, Mortgage Broker & Protection Adviser in Tottenham and Edmonton, North London’s reviews a client mortgage advice case study.
John Pringle recently assisted a client and her family to purchase their family home. The family wanted to buy their property through a council right-to-buy scheme.
John Pringle, Mortgage Broker in Tottenham and Edmonton, said:
‘Mr and Mrs N approached me as they wanted to see if it was possible to purchase their family home through the right-to-buy scheme that their council offered. They were concerned that because they were in their sixties they would not be eligible for the scheme although they had lived in their home over twenty years. I started work on the project in March and it took over seven months to get all the relevant paperwork agreed. We were able to take their pension income into account along with their other savings, and they were able to buy the property at a discounted price from the council. The family were very attached to their home and during the process they were rightly concerned that they would not get to own it. However, I encouraged them to keep going with the buying process, and we completed all the necessary paperwork that the council and the solicitors required. When they finally completed the purchase the family was delighted as they now own their home.’
Following their house purchase John Pringle our North London mortgage broker received the following email from Mrs N and her family.
‘On behalf of my entire household I would like to say thanks ever so much to you and your entire team for assisting us to completing the purchase of the above property and for making the impossible possible. Thanks for all your encouragements John. Had it been somebody else perhaps I wouldn't be where I am today. Thanks for welcoming me each day when I arrived at your office at odd times. You and your team always showed kindness and respect each time I arrived in your office. John, my family and myself will forever be grateful to you and your entire team for making the impossible possible for us.’
